You deserve to know how Plucky Money makes money before you trust it with your loan request. This disclosure explains our business model and how it can affect what you see. For a visual overview, see How we make money.

1. Plucky Money is free for you

You will never pay PLUCKY MONEY LLC to use Plucky Money: not to submit a request, not to see offers and not to connect with a lender. If anyone claiming to represent Plucky Money asks you to pay for a match or a “guaranteed” loan, it's not us. Treat it as a scam and report it to contact@pluckymoney.com.

2. How we get paid

We are compensated by the independent lenders and lending partners in our network. Depending on the partner, we may receive:

• a referral fee when we send a partner a request from a consumer;
• a fee per funded loan if a lender funds a loan to a consumer it met through us; or
• a payment for placement to have a partner's offers featured in the app.

The exact arrangement varies by partner. Sending your request to lenders and partners in exchange for this compensation is considered a sale of personal information under some state laws. You can learn more, and opt out, in our Privacy Policy and on our Do Not Sell or Share page.

3. How compensation can affect what you see

Offers may also be ordered or filtered based on other factors, such as the details of your request and each lender's eligibility requirements. Before you decide, compare the full terms of every offer you receive: the APR, fees, monthly payment and total repayment amount. See our APR Disclosure for examples of how these add up.

Compensation never changes the rate, fees or terms a lender offers you. Those are set solely by the lender.

4. We don't cover the whole market

Our network includes a limited number of lenders and does not include every lender, loan product or offer available to you. Banks, credit unions and other services may offer lower rates or better terms than those you see through Plucky Money. It's always worth comparing broadly.

5. We are not a lender

PLUCKY MONEY LLC does not make loans or credit decisions, set rates or terms, or collect loan payments. Every offer you see comes from an independent lender, and any loan agreement is solely between you and that lender. Questions about a specific offer should go to the lender.

6. Our educational content

Our educational content, such as the Smart Borrowing Guide in the app and the explanations on this website, is written to be accurate and useful, and is not influenced by compensation from lenders or partners. Compensation may affect the selection and order of offers, as described above, but not the facts we present about how loans work.
