Privacy Policy
The short version
- Plucky Money is a loan-comparison service, not a lender. To show you loan offers, we send the information in your request to lenders and partners in our network, but only after you agree in the app.
- Those partners pay us. Under some state laws, that counts as a “sale” of personal information. You can opt out at any time, but then we can't send your request to lenders.
- We never ask you to pay us, and we never ask for money to show you offers.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, wherever in the U.S. you live. Email contact@pluckymoney.com or use our Support form.
- Once you connect with a lender, the lender's own privacy policy applies to the information it receives.
This summary is for convenience only. The full policy below controls.
This Privacy Policy explains how PLUCKY MONEY LLC (“Plucky Money,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use the Plucky Money mobile app, the website at pluckymoney.com, and related services (together, the “Service”). It also explains the choices and rights you have.
Plucky Money is a loan-comparison and connection service. We are not a lender, we do not make credit decisions, and we do not broker loans. Lenders and other partners that receive your information use it under their own privacy policies.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by PLUCKY MONEY LLC, a Florida limited liability company located at 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, Saint Petersburg, FL 33702. You can reach us at contact@pluckymoney.com.

The Service is intended only for residents of the United States who are 18 or older.
2. Notice at Collection
We provide this notice at or before the time we collect your personal information. In summary:

- Why we collect it: to process your request, connect you with lenders and partners that may make you an offer, operate and secure the Service, communicate with you and meet legal obligations, as described in Section 4.
- Whether we sell it: yes. We disclose the information in your request to lenders and partners who compensate us. See Section 6 for details and how to opt out. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- How long we keep it: as described in Section 11.
To opt out of the sale of your personal information, visit Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

When you create an account, submit a request or contact us, you provide:
- Identifiers and contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, mailing address and date of birth.
- Government identifiers: your Social Security number (in full or in part) and your driver's license or state ID number, when we ask for them to help lenders verify your identity and evaluate your request.

- Communications: messages you send us, for example through our Support form or by email.
We do not ask for your bank account or card numbers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device information: IP address, device type, operating system, device identifiers, browser type and app version.
- Usage information: screens and pages you view, features you use, the date and time of your visits, and how you arrived at the Service.
- Approximate location: your general location, such as city or state, inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation.
We collect this information using cookies, software development kits (SDKs) and similar technologies. See Section 7.
Information from other sources
- Lenders and lending partners tell us whether they have an offer for you, and the details of that offer, such as the amount, APR and term, so we can show it to you in the app.

- Communicate with you: send verification codes and messages about your request, your account and the Service, and respond to your messages.

We use sensitive personal information only to process your request, verify your identity, prevent fraud, secure the Service and comply with law. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
We may create de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We keep and use it only in de-identified form and do not try to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.
5. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information to:
- Lenders and lending partners. After you agree in the app, we send the information in your request to independent lenders and lending partners in our network so they can evaluate it and contact you about offers. They may use and disclose it, including to verify your identity and check your credit, under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.
- Service providers. Companies that perform services for us, such as hosting and data storage, analytics, sending verification codes, email and customer support. They may use personal information only to provide services to us and must protect it.
- Legal and safety. Government authorities, courts or other parties when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of you, us, our partners or others.
- Business transfers. A buyer, successor or other party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of all or part of our business or assets. The recipient will be bound by this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.
- With your consent or at your direction. Other parties when you ask us to or agree to it.
6. Sale of personal information
Lenders and lending partners compensate us when we send them the information in your request. Under the laws of California and certain other states, this is considered a “sale” of personal information. The categories we sell and the categories of recipients are listed in the table in Section 3.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
You can opt out. To opt out of the sale of your personal information, visit Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or email contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” Because sending your request to lenders is how the Service works, if you opt out we will not be able to send your future requests to lenders or show you offers.
Opt-out preference signals. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale of personal information associated with that browser or device and, if we know who you are, with you.
We do not knowingly sell the personal information of consumers under 18.
7. Cookies, SDKs and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, SDKs and similar technologies to operate the Service and understand how it is used:
- Strictly necessary technologies make the Service work and keep it secure. They cannot be turned off.
- Analytics technologies tell us how people use the Service, such as which screens are viewed and where errors happen, so we can improve it.
We do not use advertising cookies, pixels or SDKs.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect how the Service works.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no common standard for these signals, we do not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 6.
8. Calls, texts and emails
We send you text messages and emails related to your request and account, such as verification codes and updates about your request. Lenders and partners that receive your request may contact you about it under their own policies.
If we ever ask you to agree to receive marketing calls or text messages sent using automated technology or prerecorded voices, we will ask through a separate, clear disclosure. That consent will never be a condition of receiving any product or service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can withdraw consent to calls and texts from us at any time by any reasonable means, including:
- replying STOP to any text message from us;
- clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email;
- emailing contact@pluckymoney.com.
We will honor your request within the time required by law. Withdrawing consent with us does not withdraw consent you gave directly to a lender or partner; please contact them separately. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send messages about your request or account where permitted by law.
9. Your choices
- Calls, texts and emails: see Section 8.
- Sale of personal information: see Section 6.
- Cookies: see Section 7.
- Deleting your account: you can ask us to delete your account and personal information as described in Section 10.
10. Your privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights over their personal information. We honor the requests below from all U.S. users, wherever you live.
- Access: confirm whether we process your personal information and get the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions, such as information we must keep to comply with law.
- Portability: get a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
- Opt out of sale: see Section 6.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for your personal information.
We use sensitive personal information only for the purposes described in Section 4, which are permitted under California law, so a separate right to limit its use does not apply.
We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Decisions about whether to offer you a loan are made by lenders, not by us.
How to submit a request
- Email contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Privacy request,” or
- use our Support form and choose the topic “Privacy request.”
Tell us which request you're making and use the email address or phone number you used in the Service, so we can find your information.
Verification. To protect you, we verify your identity before fulfilling a request to access, correct or delete personal information, for example by sending a code to the phone number or email address in your account. We use the information you provide only to verify your request.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask the agent for proof of your signed permission and ask you to verify your identity directly with us, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney.
Response time. We respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend this by up to 45 more days, as permitted by law.
Appeals. If we deny your request in whole or in part, you can appeal by replying to our response or emailing contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond within 60 days. If you disagree with the result, you can contact your state attorney general.
Information subject to other laws. Some information we collect may be subject to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its regulations, which can exempt it from certain state privacy laws. If this affects your request, we will explain it in our response.
11. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements. Specifically:
- Account and request information: up to 3 years after your last activity in the Service.
- Records of your consents and opt-outs: up to 5 years, so we can show we respected your choices.
- Device and usage data: up to 13 months.
- Support messages: up to 3 years after the conversation ends.
We may keep information longer if the law requires it or to resolve a dispute. When we no longer need personal information, we delete or de-identify it.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
13. Children's privacy
The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us at contact@pluckymoney.com and we will delete it.
14. Lenders and third-party services
When you connect with a lender or partner, or follow a link to another website or app, the information you give them is governed by their privacy policies and terms, not ours. We are not responsible for their practices. Please read their policies before you provide information or accept an offer.
15. Where we process information
The Service is intended for use in the United States, and we process personal information primarily in the United States. Some of our service providers may process information in other countries. When they do, we require them to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
16. Additional disclosures for California residents
Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask for information about the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. To make this request, email contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Shine the Light.”
Sources, purposes and disclosures. The categories of personal information we collect, their sources, the purposes for which we use them, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose or sell them are described in Sections 3 to 6.
17. Additional disclosures for Nevada residents
Nevada residents may ask us not to sell covered information that we have collected or will collect about them. To make this request, email contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Nevada opt-out.”
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will tell you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you acknowledge the updated policy.
