Your browser isn't sending an opt-out signal. You can still opt out with the form. What is GPC?

Almost done
Your email app should have opened with your request. Send that email to complete your opt-out. If it didn't open, email contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share” and include your name and email.
This page explains how you can direct PLUCKY MONEY LLC (“Plucky Money,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) not to sell your personal information. The laws of California and several other states give residents this right. We honor opt-out requests from all U.S. users, wherever you live. For full details about our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What “selling” means here
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws, “selling” personal information includes disclosing it to another company in exchange for money or anything else of value, not only for cash.
Plucky Money works by sending the information in your loan request, with your agreement in the app, to independent lenders and lending partners. Those partners compensate us for the connection. Under these laws, that is a sale of personal information, and you have the right to opt out of it.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. We use the standard title “Do Not Sell or Share” so this page is easy to find.
2. How to opt out
You can opt out in any of these ways:
- Online: use the form at the top of this page.
- By email: write to contact@pluckymoney.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” and include your full name and the email address you used in Plucky Money. Adding your phone number helps us find all your records.
- With a browser signal: turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a browser or extension that supports it. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale of personal information linked to that browser and, if we know who you are, to you.
You do not need an account to opt out. We ask only for the information we need to find your records, and we do not require you to verify your identity for an opt-out request. If we reasonably believe a request is fraudulent, we may decline it and will tell you why.
3. What happens after you opt out
We will process your request as soon as we can, and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. Once your opt-out takes effect:
- we stop selling your personal information;
- we notify any lender or partner to whom we sold your personal information after you submitted your request and before it took effect, and direct them not to sell it further;
- we keep a record of your request so we can continue to honor it and show that we did.
Please note. Sending your request to lenders is how Plucky Money works. After you opt out, we won't be able to send new loan requests to lenders or show you offers. Your opt-out does not undo disclosures made before it took effect, and it does not apply to information lenders already received. To exercise your rights with a lender, contact that lender directly.
4. Changing your mind
If you want to use Plucky Money again after opting out, you can opt back in at any time by submitting a new request in the app and agreeing to share it with lenders. We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months after you opt out, unless you start the request yourself.
5. Using an authorized agent
You may authorize someone to submit an opt-out request for you. We may ask the agent for written proof of your permission. We will not ask you to verify your identity for an opt-out request made through an agent, but we may contact you to confirm that you authorized it.
6. Nevada residents
Nevada residents may ask us not to sell covered information we have collected or will collect about them. Any of the methods in Section 2 works for this request as well.
7. No discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for opting out. We will not charge you a different price or give you a lower quality of service for exercising your rights. The only change is the one described in Section 3: we can't send new loan requests to lenders, because doing so is the sale you asked us to stop.
8. Other privacy rights and contact
To access, correct or delete your personal information, see Your privacy rights in our Privacy Policy.
